This is a CAD design file, not a physical product, of the Beetleweight Brushless gearbox I designed for Division. It can be modified to your heart's content and easily adapted to other robot designs. This upgraded V2 version uses 3X #6 plastite screws to mount and has a better, thicker washer to retain the wheels.



All parts are listed in the CAD assembly and the Bill of Materials.


V1 had 2X M3 hex nut inserts 17mm apart just like Servocity Econ gearmotors, and it's a drop-in replacement for those if you have room. V1 inside Division fought four battles at the November 2020 Norwalk Havoc event without any failures besides the print splitting behind those hex nuts, hence the design change. They still were able to drive perfectly with that damage.


I strongly recommend printing the gearbox housing in CF-Nylon, but if you want to use other materials, your mileage may vary. If you cannot print CF-Nylon at home, you might be able to modify your 3D printer to do so (at your own risk).
